I had new goodies to play with to help Whimsy Stamps celebrate their new release! It’s always fun to sit down and play with new stuff, and I had a vision in my head of what I wanted to do with these darling little owls.
Things don’t always go as planned, though…check it out in my:
Patterned Paper Die Cuts video tutorial!
Since the watercoloring didn’t work out, I was extremely happy with the turn of events when I decided to stamp on patterned paper, then die cut.
It’s quick, it’s easy and you can have all sorts of owls with fun different personalities if you use different patterned papers!

The “burst” stamps from the Happy Everything Whimsy Stamp set added that much needed pop of color and whimsy on the background.
What took the longest on these cards was the tying of the Baker’s Twine and adding all the Dimensionals! Other than that, these EIGHT cards came together in a jiffy!
I’m so happy to be working with Whimsy Stamps again- they hosted the 4th Birthday Bash at StampNation in January and the Sistahs were blown away by their customer care and speedy shipping.
