If you've ever been stuck when it comes to making cards for that special guy in your life, this card will have your Mojo in overdrive! The class is well-laid out, easy to follow and you have lifetime access to it. – You have just five days left to get in on the early bird pricing.
Here is the card that I made for the blog hop.
Simple. Clean. Graphic. Great for a guy!
But great for many other people and occasions, right?
In this video I will show you how I made this card, simplified a bit, and how to make it four different ways!
I started out with the intent of making this a simple KISS Card video (Keep it simple stamper!) and got a bit carried away…watch…(viewing in your inbox? click the title to view online).
Be sure to hop over to this video on Youtube to comment – I'll be sending all five of these cards to one person drawn at random! Supplies:
- Flower Friend Stamp Set (Simon Says Stamp)
- Cardstock: Whisper White
- Ink: Early Espresso, Daffodil Delight
- Score two pieces of card stock at 5-1/2, then cut at 5-1/2. Fold these in half and you will then have four card bases.
- Cut one piece of card stock the long way at 4, then cut the remaining piece at 4. Then cut both pieces at 5-1/2. You will now have four pieces for your top layers.
- Cut the 1/4 piece of card stock on an angle.
- Use a pencil to trace the angle of the cut card stock.
- Use that pencil line as a guide to stamp your images.
- Figure out how much you need to cut off the top piece and cut.
- Stamp your greeting and assemble with dimensionals.
- Make a Statement Stamp Set (Some Odd Girl)
- Cardstock: Whisper White
- Ink: Yes Peas, Something Blue, Orange County (Studio Calico)
- Stamp Set (Papertrey Ink)
- Cardstock: Whisper White
- Ink: Coastal Cabana, Basic Grey, Calypso Coral
- Leaf and Flower Background Stamp (Hero Arts)
- Cardstock: Whisper White
- Ink: Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn (Distress Ink)
- Accessories: Sparkling Clear and Onyx Sequins (Pretty Pink Post)
