It's time for another KISS Card! Keep It Simple Stamper!
I really love doing cards and videos like this, they are truly simple, but can be dressed up in so many different ways. This KISS Card is special…view the video to see why (if viewing through email, click the title to view online):
We saw three different ways to use the same inks, paper, layout and stamp set….which one is your favorite? What would you add to it? A bit of glitter? Some rhinestones?
This layout can be made with a variety of different stamps…try hearts, other flowers, a leaf…your imagination is truly the limit here!
You can also use a variety of sentiments to make cards for any occasion.
The stamping didn't stop here…I decided to keep on going and take this card up a few notches by adding watercolor paper and embossing along with a ton of water and a bit of a mess…a FUN mess, though!
This video tutorial will be available later today for StampNation Members as our 396th Video Tutorial!
- Loving Thoughts Stamp Set (CAS-ual Fridays)
- Cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Whisper White
- Ink: Strawberry Slush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Bermuda Bay, Early Espresso
These three cards plus the stepped up version is a perfect example of the kinds of things we are covering in our next Online Class, Basics & Beyond! The classroom will be open in the next couple of weeks…stay tuned.
I hope you are gearing up for a great weekend! I've been couped up in the house for four straight days – WITH the kids. OYE! We only got about 1.5″ of snow, but in the south, that snow melts during the day then freezes at night and the roads are awful in the morning. Plus, we don't have equipment to take care of it, so some of the side streets stay icy for a loooong time which makes it dangerous for the buses to pick up all the kids. Thus, we have lots of snow days in a row.
To get rid of cabin fever, I'm going to Archiver's tonight one last time before they close…sigh…I'll likely be posting photos to Facebook of the fun!
