A simple journal makes a fabulous way to preserve and document your life. It's quicker and easier than designing an entire 12 x 12 scrapbook page and gets to the heart of…well, your heart!
Up until about a year ago, I ONLY scrapbooked the "12 x 12 way". Now that I use what I like to call the "storytelling method", I've been scrapbooking in a variety of ways.
This page took me less than 30 minutes to put together and tells how I began drinking coffee, my favorite kind and a bit about our trip to Seattle (the first Starbucks, of course!). THE STORY is the star here.
I encourage you to get an archival journal, an archival pen (or 2 or 12) and sit down once in a while and write down what is on your mind. Grab a photo or 2 (or none, even!) and add them to your entry.
As I work on my personal journal, I will be sharing some of my entries here, some on my newsletter and some on StampNation. Stay tuned to be inspired.
And if you want the low-down on the "storytelling method" CLICK HERE to learn about how to get your copy of the book I wrote on the subject.
What else will you learn from reading my book?
- You DON'T have to scrap it all! I'm serious! And I will teach you how to live this idea!
- How to get started! You will have a clear vision and purpose.
- You will be ready to embark on YOUR journey to scrapbooking freedom!
Happy stamping and Journaling!
