Masculine Card Making: Got 10?

Catherine Embossing, Projects, Videos

Welcome to today's Got 10 Card…a card in 10 minutes or less!  I've had some requests for some masculine cards, so that was my goal today.  I'm not sure this is my favorite card…what do you think?  Anything you would change?  I like the layered punches and I loove the Vintage Trinkets….but there is something that I'm not sure about.   Maybe it's the gathered ribbon?  Maybe I needed more sponging on the Elegant Soiree Designer Paper and the Cherry Cobbler Layer?

When prepping for this card, I realized I don't have a lot of masculine stamp sets, so choosing colors, patterns and a greeting set the stage here.

Once I chose my colors, the rest was fairly simple.   My card base is 11 x 4-1/4, then a 4×4 layer and a 3 x 3-1/2" layer finished off the card base.  A few punched shapes and a greeting and I was done!  See the steps of making this card in the video (If you are reading this in a feed, click on the post title to view):
