I tried out wet stamping today…365 cards challenged me to do a technique that I'm not a big fan of…well, this one I hadn't tried!

WET STAMPING HOW-TO:  First, you will want to wet your Watercolor Paper with a spray bottle.  I didn't have one filled with water, so I used my spray bottle full of Shimmer Mist (fill a bottle with rubbing alcohol, then add a few drops of Stampin' Up Shimmer Paint).

While your paper is wet, stamp on it!  The "real" instructions for wet stamping, is to then use your Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp again over the top of it, but honestly…my kids were running around in my stamp room making their own cards and I just didn't have the patience for that.  Plus, once the ink bled a little bit, I thought it looked pretty cool, so I left it alone!

I used my hand-dyed More Mustard Satin Ribbon…RIBBON DYING VIDEO TUTORIAL.
