Stampin’ Up Smooch Spritz with the Tulipe Big Shot Die Stencil

Catherine Die Cutting, Projects, Techniques, Videos

You might know that I am a big fan of the Vintage Style, but I don't feel “good” at it.  Quick and simple with a punch is usually my style…but I'm trying to branch out a bit for fun.

I was perusing Shelli Gardner's website (CEO and Co-founder of Stampin' Up) and saw a card that inspired me, so I CASED it!  I changed the colors and embellishments and used a different stencil and this is what I came up with.  I hope you like it!

It's a great way to showcase the brand new Smooch Spritz (try saying that 5 times fast!) by Stampin' Up, which comes in 4 colors:  Gold Glow, Silver Foil, Vanilla Shimmer and Log Cabin.

First, sponge Creamy Caramel and Ruby Red ink (both retiring June 30) on your Very Vanilla Cardstock.  Then, lay your stencil (this one was made by die cutting a peice of Window Sheet with the Tulipe Die for the Big Shot).  Give it a couple quick pumps of Smooch Spritz, remove your stencil and Oooh and Aaaah at your creation!

I used the distressing tool from the Cutter Kit to distress the edges of the cardstock.

The layered peices in the middle are labels cut from the Big Shot Matchbox Die, and it was stamped using the flourish-y stamp from the Friends 24-7 Stamp Set (ink in Creamy Caramel and stamp off once).   Topped off with a P for Pooler from the Lovely Letters Stamp Set!
