I meet people all the time that say, “oh, I only scrapbook” or “I only make cards” 

Well, if you said yes to one, well you can say yes to the other! 

I use all the same paper crafting supplies on my hand made cards as I do on my scrapbook pages, and many times I use the same layouts!  You can see on the card below and the scrapbook page as well, I used the same Designer Series Paper by Stampin’ Up and the same Felted Flowers.

I began scrapbooking 14 years ago and I made my very first card 8 years ago.  I needed a card, and instead of going to the store, I folded a piece of cardstock in half and slapped some stickers across it.  Very simple, very different from what my cards look like today.  I didn’t have to fork over $5 for a card, and I made it myself!

The same can be said if you are a card maker.  Take the card below…imagine the Chocolate Chip cardstock base is a 12 x 12 sheet…cut the patterned paper 2 x12 and 1 x 12, add a felted flower to the bottom and a few photos on the top.  Viola!  A simple scrapbook page that highlights your photos and your memories are preserved!

These samples were made with one of my monthly Scrappers’ Express kits from February 2010, Sending Love. 

All the details here.  Your kit includes cardstock, paper and embellishments and I provide you with 6 layout ideas and a few card samples to copy.  If you do the 6 layouts, you will be done in 2 hours or less AND have tons of supplies left over for more pages and/or cards!
