Elements of Style Stamp Set and Love Story Designer Series Paper Scrapbook PageAugust 2nd, 2010 Posted on August 2nd, 2010, 6 responses. When I saw the new Love Story Designer Series Paper, the Vintage Brads and the Crochet Trim, I ordered them right away. Usually this stuff sits around for a bit ’cause I’m not sure what to do with it. Not this time! As soon as the order arrived, I pulled out these goodies and got to work. I love the end result. This page remains true to my personal style of simple with a punch…dontcha think? The basic layout is one I use over and over…12 x 12 Cardstock with a couple strips of DSP. I added the flowers, the crochet trim and the tag from the Big Shot Two Tags Die (perfect journaling block) and I think it came out great! I did a little stamping with the Elements of Style Stamp Set on the background with Whisper White Craft Ink. (I also made my Convention swap card to match the page and I can’t find a copy of it right now! I’ll post it when I find it.) Wanna see the coordinating facing page for this layout? It will be featured in my August newsletter that goes out the first week of August. So don’t miss out and put your e-mail address in that little box on the top of the sidebar! There’s also a really cool exclusive tutorial for newsletter peeps. Can’t wait to show you! Not to mention how stinkin’ cute this kid is, right? This was right before her dance recital in June. We were "practicing" putting our hair in curlers. She just loved it, she’s so girly! And I’m so jealous of that hair. She’s got the best hair in the Pooler Household. STAMPIN’ UP SUPPLIES:
Here’s another card using the Love Story Designer Series Paper and I teamed it up with the Charming Stamp Set (116519). Looks fabulous together, doesn’t it?? I’ve got one last sample to share with you using this color scheme and the vintage look…find me on facebook to see it! Click here to purchase your favorite Stampin’ Up products!

Card Scrapbook Page with With All My Heart Stamp SetMarch 1st, 2010 Posted on March 1st, 2010, 2 responses.Hey, Stamper Friends! What was supposed to be a day home working with all the kids in school through the afternoon, turned into a morning of doctor appointments! The kids went roller skating yesterday, and Anna (my 10 year old) fell and hurt her wrist. I told her if it still hurt this morning, I would take her to the doctor. Lo and behold, the kid broke her wrist! It’s called a Buckle Break and she’s got a gorgeous hot pink cast on! She will get it off just a couple weeks before we go on the Stampin’ Up cruise to the Southern Caribbean. Phew. And on top of that, I’ve got a cold, and I’m hoping it’s not the flu. Wowsas, when it rains, it pours! Between all of this, I was able to finish editing my video on Scrapbook Cards. Next time you’re making a quick card, I challenge you to incorporate some of the card elements into a scrapbook page! Let me know if you like this idea and I will post more. It was fun, and very quick to do. Here’s the video showing you how:
So you can see how to easily turn your 6×6 scrapbook page into a card. OR you can take your 6×6 scrapbook page and add it to a 12 x 12! Supplies:

All My Heart Stamp Set: Card or Scrapbook Page?February 26th, 2010 Posted on February 26th, 2010, no responses.
Happy Friday Stamper Friends! Here is a sample of a 6×6 scrapbook page I made at my workshop last night (thanks for hosting, Rebecca! I had a great time!), and I will be making with at my 3 workshops this weekend. It uses the same supplies that were used on this month’s Scrappers’ Express Kit. Details here. This project is neat because you can incorporate this 6 x6 Scrapbook Page into your 12 x12 page. OR, if prefer, you can make it into a card. Check back this weekend, because I am working on editing my video showing you how! I’ll post it as soon as it’s ready. I’ll be working on it between errands, visiting a friend to play Rock Band tonight, my 9 mile run tomorrow (I’m getting back up and around after my pinched nerve, yay!), and my weekend workshops. Have a great day!
