Stampin’ Up Have a Seat in Black and White
September 25th, 2011
Hello, friends! I am participating in my last week as a guest designer over at the Outlawz! The challenge this week is to make a black and white card. Have you ever made one? It can be a bit of a challenge.
Imagine that. A challenge for the challenge! LOL!
With only 2 colors, you need to have some spark on your card and I achieved this by using the Small Heart Punch, the Finial Press Embossing Folder and Crystal Effects. I absolutely renewed my love affair with Crystal Effects with this card. View the video to see exactly how to use it!
Viewing this in a feed? Click on the title post to view online.

I love how the Crystal Effects looked over the embossed hearts once it dried!
**Remember to let your CE dry for 30 minutes or so!!!***
Did you see the first video in the Gently Falling Series that was posted yesterday? Stay tuned over the next few weeks to see the upcoming videos. Place an order with me this month and you’ll be treated to the GENTLY FALLING BONUS SERIES!

I love black and white. I can see this done in so many ways and for weddings, anniversarys, valentines, etc. Thanks

This leaves a awesome impression! I have now gained a love for black and white cards. It is so elegant, yet simple with great drawing power. You seem to keep the ability to impress with your gorgeous cards. Thanks for being there for me. I continue to lose my creative power every now and then and your creativeness gets me going again.

this is a beautful card. i need advice here. i saw a really pretty sympathy card premade in a store with pearls etc. on it. i think this would make a beautiful card for a couple who had been married a long time and one of them passed away. am i thinking this totally tacky? it was my instant thought when i saw the 2 little hearts on the bench for two.
