Clean and Simple Card Making with Spice Cake Designer Fabric

September 19th, 2011

Can you feel the breezes of fall coming in?  This card is in the spirit!  I am Guest Designer for the Outlawz Clean and Simple Challenge which is run by my dear friend, Maureen.  The challenge was to make a Clean and Simple Card with no stamping except your greeting.

A few fun things to "spice" this card up:

  • after using your embossing folder, sponge around the edges.  This will make your embossing really POP!
  • cut a strip of fabric and tie it around your card instead of using ribbon!
  • Add a thin strip of coordinating Designer Series Paper to the edge of your card.
  • Layer punches to highlight your greeting.
