Paper Piecing Rubber Stamping Technique- add pizzazz to your hand stamped cards!

March 17th, 2011

What is Paper Piecing?  It’s a fun rubber stamping technique to add pizzazz to your hand stamp cards, and it’s easy to do!

All you have to do is stamp your image on paper or cardstock, cut it out and add it to your project.  You can keep it simple, like today’s project, or use a more detailed stamp, stamp it on different colors and/or patterns of paper and layer your heart out!

When assembling your cut outs, adhere the pieces with dimensionals to create a three dimensional effect.

Today’s card is a simple and super fun way to use the paper piecing technique!  How stinkin’ cute is this band-aid?  And can you imagine all the fun Designer Papers you can use?

I am especially excited today with this card and video, because it begins my term on the Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog design team.  I’ll be designing and filming some special video tutorials for them…hop over and join in this week’s challenge!
