Wild Card Wednesday: Paris in the Spring with the Chic Boutique Stamp Set

As a Guest Designer over at Papercraftstar.com, my challenge today was to create a card showcasing my New Year’s Resolution. This year, I plan to dust off some of my older Stampin’ Up supplies and use them with my new goodies! We always want to purchase new stuff, right? But there are plenty of gems sitting on my shelves (and yours, right!?)! Let’s pull them out and see what we can do!
For today’s card, I used the Chic Boutique Stamp Set and En Francais Stamp Set (both older) with new colors (Daffodil Delight and Marina Mist) and the brand-new Tulip Border Embossing Folder.
I also had fun “dusting off” an old technique I haven’t used in a while as well…Clear Emboss Resist!
To get this look:
- stamp En Francais in Bashful Blue ink on white cardstock.
- ink the Eiffel Tower in Versamark Ink, stamp, pour on Clear Embossing Powder and heat.
- sponge Marina Mist ink over the clear embossed image.
That’s it!
