My Digital Studio Christmas Cards

If you follow my blog, you know I WANT to use My Digital Studio more, but I just haven’t gotten into it much yet…maybe that should be my New Year’s Resolution!  I played around last night with it a bit and made these 2 Christmas Cards! 

They each took me less than 15 minutes, then I could have Stampin’ Up professionally print them, ship them straight to me with envelopes in less than a week.  It’s that easy!    Click here for pricing information.

We are going to put up the tree today, and you know, it would be a great idea to take a photo of the kids and do a card with it later today.  Then, viola!  I’d have a current photo on the card!  Oooh, you’ll have to check back tomorrow to see what I come up with!

These 2 cards feature photos from our Stampin’ Up Caribbean Cruise back in April.

My very favorite feature of MDS is the color matching!  I color matched the snowflakes on the first card to one of the blues in the ocean, the scallop border to a color in Anna’s bathing suite, the words to the rocks.  In the second card, I matched the snowflakes to Randall’s suit and the red ho ho and border around the photo to the girls’ dresses.

To perform the initial update, (version 1.01) simply go to the Customer Web Site and download the update from the Updates page under Our Products > Product Lines > My Digital Studio.  

Note: After installing the first update from the Customer Web Site, be sure to restart your computer to complete the update process.
