Two for Tuesday – Stampin’ Up’s Pedaling Past and Elements of Style
May 18th, 2010Hello Stampers! I showed you a card, here, about 10 days ago stamped 2 different ways. Same template, using different stamps. I hear quite often from stampers that they have trouble seeing one card and tweaking it up a bit to make a new card, so maybe you would want to see how I do it?
It got me thinking that this would be a fun “regular feature” to add to my blog. What do you think? Sometimes I might copy the card exactly with different stamps, or sometimes I might change it up a bit and use different colors/accessories.
Here goes the first:
Two for Tuesday!
The first card uses the Pedaling Past Stamp Set (116972 Wood Mount, 120069 Clear Mount).
The second card uses the Elements of Style Stamp Set (118611 Wood Mount, 120045 Clear Mount), both in the Summer Mini Catalog.
Do you think you can follow my template and make a card of your own? I hope you’ll try it out!
What about hanging a circle tag from the ribbon? Or placing brads or even just coordinating circle punch outs in place of the Jumbo Eyelets?

We have our second first swim team practice tonight and all three of our girls are participating this year. We are really excited! Last night I got them all suited up and down to the pool in the rain, and by the time we got down there it was a torrential downpour, so it was cancelled. Fingers crossed for tonight! Have a super Stampin’ Day!

Great samples! I like the shredded ribbon ends – the extra layer on the tag in your 2nd card. Two for Tuesday – keep it coming! Good luck to the girls with the swimming.

May I ask how you got the two tone on the background using the lattice folder? It is very pretty. Thanks for the ideas, they are great.
