Movers and Shapers Curly Label Die- PURSE!
March 18th, 2010STAMPERS!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m dyin’ over here…just dyin’.
My super crafty mom is visiting and today was our big crafting day. I had the idea of….hold onto your hat…using the Movers and Shapers Curly Label Big Shot die to make a little purse for my cell phone.
My mom was a bit of a doubting Thomas. She hasn’t sunk her teeth into the Stampin’ Up world (I know, big gasp) and wasn’t sure how this would turn out.
I kept telling her to trust me. I just needed a little pouch for my new super cool phone because it doesn’t have any protection on the outside. It was a snap to cut out the fabric with the Big Shot Die.
So, after cutting out the fabric and batting with the die, we sewed that puppy up! (when I was rushing upstairs full of excitement, yelling, “Let’s sew this puppy up!!!” Alana was a bit concerned for Kenly’s safety…”what puppy are we sewing up, mom???!!!”)
Look how perfect my phone fits into this cutie little pouch. Yeah, you can bet I’ll be making more…different patterns, seasonal ones, you name it. Now I’ll be able to throw my cell phone in the bottom of the pool bag or my big ole mommy purse and I don’t run the risk of phoning my demonstrator friends in Australia!
I also plan to use the other Movers and Shapers dies….stars, hearts, etc.
Can you believe how perfectly it fits? And the window, how flippin’ cute is THAT!!??? I used Stampin’ Up window sheets and beads.

I’m guessing you all might want to see a video….hmmm???
I’m off to my downline event and I can’t wait to show those girls this project and the other project we designed for them using CHIPBOARD, DESIGNER PAPER AND FELT FLOWERS!!! Check back tomorrow to see a few of the projects and Find me on Facebook to see them all!
