Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder, meet I {Heart} Hearts Stamp Set
February 22nd, 2010Hello, Stampers! Today I have another video highlighting Stampin’ Up’s Iridescent Ice Embossing Powder.
Even though Valentine’s Day is past, Stampin’ Up’s I {Heart} Hearts Stamp Set is still a fabulous stamp for many occasions. Who wouldn’t want an I love you card anytime during the year! And when you purchase this set through Feb. 28, Stampin’ Up will donate $2 to American Red Cross’ Haiti Relief and Development Fund.
I used the Versamark Ink to stamp a few hearts on my white cardstock and those became subtle, glittery hearts….then I wanted to highlight one, so I inked my heart in Real Red Craft Ink and stamped.
Craft Ink is a pigment ink and it’s thick and stays wet for a while. This enables you to pour on embossing powder and emboss your stamped image. This also makes it a bit messy to work with! Thus, my card looks different that I intended. Different, but just as good I think! I smudged the red ink in a few places, so I had the opportunity to be creative and see how I could cover up the smudges.
View the video and see how!
