Happy Moments Stamp set and Shimmer Paint
January 26th, 2010Hey, friends! Today’s featured stamp set is Happy Moments. It’s a beloved Sale-A-Bration set and you can get yours for free with a $50 purchase! Visit yesterday’s post to see all the images from this set.
I was inspired by the colors and use of shimmer paint in Cam’s card (yesterday’s post) and inspired by the layout of this card below by Amy Fitzgerald. It uses the Messages for Mom Stamp Set and Shades of Spring Designer Series Paper. Isn’t it cute?
So I took these two cards, got all excited, locked myself in the stamp room and created today’s card. I hope you enjoy the video! and, don’t mind the dog…geez.

Hi Cathrine,
The shimmer paint is cool. Can you bring a sample card and possibly the shimmer paint to Lauren’s Party next week?? Very cool!! I used my *free* thank you stamps to make a set of thank you cards for my TA for her birthday! They turned out AWESOME!
See you next week!

Hi Mindi! You want to see the shimmer paint in person? You got it!
I’m so excited you’re putting your stamps to good use. YAY!

This was such a funny video – between the story about the dimensional crisis and your dog going crazy.
Thanks for showing us how to use blender pens with the shimmer paint. I keep using either sponge daubers or a really nice paint brush I have for painting, and would have never thought to use a blender pen instead!!!
