Medallion Stamp Set Notecard Gift Set
December 17th, 2009

Happy Thursday everyone!
Today I have a notecard gift set to share with you. Every year I make sets of notecards for the teachers. You can’t go wrong with a gift like this.
This year, for Eva’s preschool teachers, I decided to make a simple all-occasion set with Stampin’ Up’s Medallion Stamp Set. For $17.95, this versatile stamp is the most popular stamp set in the Stampin’ Up Catalog!
If you don’t have the Medallion Stamp, other stamps that would work well in this layout are:
- Fifth Avenue Floral
- Flower Fancy
- Simple Friendship
- Fresh Cuts, Priceless
- Baroque Motifs
- I (Heart) Hearts from the Occasions Mini Catalog (coming out on January 5).

While I was stamping mine, Anna, my 10 year old, made this card using the same layout, different colors and stamps, I (Heart) Hearts Stamp Set. She also was showing her friend how to mount the Clear Mount Stamps! 8 years and I can sign her up. I almost video’d her demonstrating the Clear Mount…she was cute!

Back to the notecard gift set.
Tips: I find it easiest to stamp assembly line style. Stamp the Medallion on ALL your white layers. Then add adhesive on them all at the same time, etc.
This way, you’re not picking up and putting down your adhesive a million times!

Here is the finished package. I used the Two Tags Big Shot Die to cut out the tag (don’t miss out, it’s on sale!). Then I stamped the Medallion on it, added a half back pearl from the Pretties Kit (adhered with a mini glue dot), and stamped the greeting from Sweet Season on it as well.
I wrapped the notecards and envelopes (you can see the envies in the video) in tissue paper, tied my Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon around it and through the tag, and Viola!
Supplies:
- 115223 Medallion Stamp SEt $17.95
- 105328 Sahara Sand Cardstock $7.50 (40 sheets)
- 105208 Sahara Sand Ink Pad $5.95
- 115317 Bermuda Bay Cardstock $5.50 (24 sheets)
- 115655 Bermuda Bay Ink Pad $5.95
- 115610 Bermuda Bay Ribbon $9.95 (15 yards)
- 102892 Sponge Daubers $10.95 (12)

Thanks for visiting today! I hope you got some inspiration to make some gifts of your own this week and weekend. Leave me a comment and let me know what projects you’re working on!

Love the Medallion notecard gift set! Too late for me to try this year, but will definitely do it next year! I would love to see more sneak peeks from the new mini catalog next week. When does it officially come out?

Hi Debbie! I’m so glad you like it! Thank you so much for your comment.
The new mini catalog begins January 5. Let me know if you need a copy and I’ll pop one in the mail to you at the end of the month!
And don’t forget, these notecard sets make great end of the year teacher gifts and mother’s day, too!
