Stampin’ Up’s Build-A-Brad meets Build-A-Bear Video Tutorial
November 17th, 2009
I had a great time with this month’s Scrappers’ Express Kit- Night and Day Specialty! It is so versatile and the patterns go with just about everything! Full Details of this month’s Kit.
I made this card using one I got in a swap at Convention from my friend, Christina Crawford, this year as my inspiration. I love the circle embellishment from stamps that come in the Circle Circus Stamp Set, and they went so well with my kit of the month. I love stamping with different colors, punching out with different sized circle punches and layering them on top of each other…multi-colored circle fun!
In the video, I will show you how to use the Build-A-Brads and assemble this card, then at the end there is a Build-A-BEAR surprise!
Supplies:
- 115778 Circle Circus Stamp Set
- 115018 A Little Birthday Cheer Stamp Set
- 109043 Scallop Circle Punch
- 104403 1 1/4″ Circle Punch
- 104390 1/2″ Circle Punch
- 101179 Basic Black Ink Pad
- 115655 Bermuda Bay Ink Pad
- 115610 Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon
- 104430 Dimensionals
- 104332 SNAIL Adhesive
- 103683 Glue Dots
- 116631 Paper-Piercing Tool $3.50
- 105826 Mat Pack $9.95
The following supplies are used on the card and are included in the Scrappers’ Express Kit:
Here are all the fun images in the Circle Circus Stamp Set:

Here are all the terrific patterns in the Night and Day Specialty Paper pack…this is only available through January 4!

When your Build-A-Brads are gone, you are left with a darling container that is begging to be embellished and filled with candy! I simply stamped a quick tag with the 118054 Seal of Pawthenticity, punched it out with the 104430 1 1/4″ Circle Punch, layered a 109043 Scallop Circle Punch behind it and tied it on with 104199 Linen Thread. I replaced the Build-A-Brads with Build-A-Bears! hehe!
I used the Regal Rose Ink pad and cardstock and the Chocolate Chip Wide Grosgrain Ribbon.
