I began scrapbooking 13 years ago when I made a scrapbook for my husband on our one year anniversary. Though my hobby was probably born years prior to that if you count my high school and college photo albums in which I added little embellishments such as stickers, news article clippings, and any memorabilia that would fit into a book.
